You don't want to use ramps it will compress your springs. You need jacks on both sides. Once jacked up if your only doing springs you should be able to pull the spring out. If not start to undo the top shock nut, but have a jack under the rear pumpkin then you can lower the jack under the rear and it will lower enough to get the springs out and in. There is a circle on the lower part where you put the spring, kinda hard to mess it up. Good luck to ya , it won't be that hard once you get under there and start doing it.

the bottom shock nut is a pretty big size. i cant remember off the top of my head but its bigger than 18mm. i think it was 21mm? either way its big and i had to go buy it since my set only went up to 18 or 19mm.
also while youre under there, check your bump stops. its possible theyre worn or just fell apart. gmpartsdirect has replacement poly ones for like $25 each. the rubber ones arent available anymore afaik.
also what size are your wheels? its possible youll need spacers on the bump stops if theyre not stock.

if youre facing the wheel, take it off, and in the back of the wheel well there should be a triangular rubber thing. its likely deteriorated. its held in with two screws.
you should never have to undo the top shock bolt. once the shock is unbolted from the bottom, its no longer connected to the axle. removing the top shock bolt requires removing a bunch of your interior.

The bottom is bigger than the top, look at the summit picture again. Once you start doing it you'll know.

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you, but the bottom of our coils in where the coil gets tighter and smaller into the center of the coil. See look at this pic. You can see how the coil gets much smaller on the bottom. It will also only fit into the little mount on the axle one way.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
