  • weld in subframe question..

i have heard a few ways to install would it be fine to drive it over a pit and weld in or does the car have to be off the ground to free the suspension?

Either method is fine, the most important thing is that the suspension is loaded as if the car was sitting on a level surface. How you achieve that, either by leaving the car on the ground or lifting it in a manner that still has the suspension loaded (i.e. ramps), is up to you. The thing that's absolutely paramount is that all four points are level, otherwise the SFCs will be crooked and that will mess up the car's suspension geometry

yea, the chassis should not be twisted or misaligned in any manner when these are installed....

I first put mine in as bolt in, then went back and welded them in. Their just the BMR 2 point on each sides (tubular I think). I did noticed a nice difference even with my other suspension mods, which makes me think they were a good investment. Agian the car needs to be on ramps to support the suspension.
