  • Lowerin Springs and new shocks/struts installed, having problems.

okay so here is my story... I needed new shocks and struts was pushing 140 thou with stock and i have always wanted to get rid of that huge gap from tire to fenderwell so i figured i would throw some summit lowerings springs on it. Everything went together fine they are are inch and a half lowering springs the only problem im having is now my front end feels like its about to fall off whenever i hit a anything in the road. I checked to make sure all the clearance is fine i have stock 16x8.5 rims on there nothing looks like it is rubbing all the bushings where put it back on the spring in the strut. The popping is horrible though, feels like as though the lugs are loose on my rim... Looked in forums and cant find anything someone else has had to of had this problem before anyone have any ideas? Greatly appreciated!! Haven't had front end alignment yet and dont want to incase i have to tear things apart.

    Thanks in advance!!

I think you didn't get the upper strut mount all the way through the holes, and thats what is making the popping sound. Just my guess. If you push down on the front of the car does it make the popping sound? If it does It is what I suggested.

Can you rock the top of the tire side to side?
