  • Ok, It's time for new tires...

As the title implies, it's time for me to put new tires on my trusty warhorse. My ride is a 52 week a year daily driver, so I roll only Z-rates (or higher) all season performance rubber. (yeah, I know that I'm not getting to 149+mph any thime soon, but prefer z-rated tires heat tolerance and better grip potential).

My current tires are Pirelli P7000 SSs which I love, but these were discontinued a while back. After doing a lot of net searches, I've pretty much decided on either the BFG g-Force Super Sport A/S's or the Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Positions. Is anyone running either of these tires and can give a recommendation?

(Sorry, no falkens, yokos, kumhos, toyos, or sumitomos for me. Too many iffy reviews out there.)

I'm pretty happy with my g-forces. As it gets closer to winter, I'll probably have them siped, just to make sure the traction will be there.

I looked at those, but they are not available in 245/50-16s and I didn't want to have to change my stock rims. :(
