I painted mine black. I don't think I can help you since your doing red and I'm not familiar with that.

        Serious response: Search

Pull the wheels off, spray some brake cleaner on everything. 4 bolts take off the caliper and caliper bracket. Take the rotor off. Clean the calipers and brackets really good (ie, sanding). Use duplicolor caliper paint from autozone and do a few good coats and then clearcoat. Make sure you mask everything you don't want paint to get on. Let it dry and put everything back together.

        Heres how mine came out

You can see I also got the CAMARO vinyls that go on the front calipers. I clearcoated over those as well to seal them in.

^if you want it to last more than a week without chipping, that would be a good idea

Honestly, just cleaning them and slightly polishing them looks really good and requires minimal maintainence.

                    Re: Painting Brake Calipers

When I did mine I was replacing calipers so they were new. I put about 3 coats of brush duplicolor red paint kit and about 3 coats of rattle can clear and it looked great. Then after a few months it was chipped and looked like poo. I've heard if you do this and then bake the calipers it helps but I dunno, just something I heard, never tried it, and it requires removing caliper of course which equals a little more work with bleeding, not sure if you wanna do that or not.

clean them really really well, you want a very clean surface. if you have a wire brush or some type of grinder to give you a smooth surface, the comes about 2 coats of high temp spray primer, followed by a couple coats of duplicolor let it dry, then i used a couple coats of high temp clear coat. havent had any problems, if you do it right the first time, there wont be a second time.

Yea, i forgot to add that I used a couple coats of primer on mine too. The caliper paint says you don't need it, but its definitally a good idea.

I used spray with black, and brush on with red. about 6 months, 8k miles, no issues.

I used the G2 paint kit:

Got it off eBay a year ago for like 25 bucks. I prepped extremely well because I knew that would make or break this project. Mainly used a wire toothbrush. I honestly spent an hour and a half PER caliper and rotor hub. (Both rust, (if you note the pictures above) so I painted both) About a year later and not a single chip.
