Sqeaking noise from the Driver side Front

I have been searching, googling, etc... to hopefully try to figure this one out. I am not to keen in the suspension section so please bare with me. I am getting a sqeaking noise coming from the driver side front suspension area. One guy I have talked to seems to think it might be a bushing and the previous owner was told tie rods so he bought 2 new ones and gave them to me with the car. My question is has anyone had this problem before and could it possibly be a shock? I am really racking my brain on this one and I dont see anything noticealbly wrong when I look under there. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

BTW I have a 1998 Camaro if it helps any.
