Seems like there have been a lot of threads about shocks recently but I'm still unsure of which I should get. Car is daily driven, no auto crossing and hasn't been at the track yet but does take a good deal of abuse and eventually will see a few track runs a year, hopefully. Question is should I go ahead and get the KYB GR2s or save twice as much and get the AGX models? I understand the benefit of the AGX but are they any more likely to last longer or is the price all in the adjustability? Thanks in advance.
Oh and any info on the Gas-A-Just models would be appreciated too.
Shocks really depend on what kind of springs you're running, along with your budget. Anything more than a 1" drop and you'd bet better of with adjustable shocks like the KYB AGXs. Less than 1" drop or stock and you'll be fine with Bilstein, GR-2, Tokicos, and Monroes.
A few members have run the Gas-A-Justs and enjoyed them.
im pretty sure i will get either the gr2 or the gas a justs.. not that it helps you or anything.. but they are plenty for the way i drive... which is a lot less aggressively than you though
Would there be much benefit to having the adjustables on stock springs? I don't think I could do an inch or more drop considering the conditions of the roads and all the speed bumps around here, so I don't really plan on lowering the car. Right now I'm leaning toward the gas-a-justs, just don't know if the AGX would be worth the extra $100 for my application or not.
i have gas a just on my vw, and i like em. i use it for auto-x, and let me tell you that thing handles. i would see them doing good for you.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
