Help with traction

since i have added all my bolt ons i havent been able to get any traction in first, i even have brand new tires and i still spin all the way through first and some of second, is there any suspension mod that will help this? or will i just need a bigger rim and wider tires

Adjustable torque arm and adjustable lower control arms. Then you can put some pinion angle in it. That will help it bite.

throw in some lca brackets with the control arms to plant those tires down too. then check if you have a posi or not (y87 package is a giveaway, or the "one tire fire" burnout)...mine's running open posi with 3.23's (until i get a decent posi and gears) and i can't hook for sh*t.

not trying to be rude but there is no such thing as an open posi there is an open rear which you have...

and actually yes i've heard of my "open rear" referred to as an open posi, which is just a lack thereof...either way, it doesn't help the OP worrying about it.

^ LCA's, tunnel mount TQ arm,3.73 gears with Torsen diff, etc. , 275/40/17 bfg tires and no spin or loss of traction with mine, thats even with a shift kit and 100 shot of nitrous, just chirps 2nd and 3rd gear.

and actually yes i've heard of my "open rear" referred to as an open posi, which is just a lack thereof...either way, it doesn't help the OP worrying about it.

no offense but posi is not reffered to an open diff,our diffs arn't even posi,their LSD,posi is what some true dragsters have to produce 100% of power to both wheels,but yeah if you have open 3.23 you will definitely spin,i had 3.08's with mild boltons and i spun through 1st like a mofo,your best bet would be getting it LSD or 3.42 LSD.

posi and lsd are the same thing

i think you are thinking of a locker rear end, where both wheels get the same power all of the time.. ONLY except if you are going around bends it will unlock
