i think you are thinking of a locker rear end, where both wheels get the same power all of the time.. ONLY except if you are going around bends it will unlock

not dangerous, it might have a slight hop, and a chirp or two. but only when taking sharp ( 90*) turns.
lca's and relocation brackets helped my wheel hop and traction a good bit. start there, then do a tq arm and wider tires.

A locker will unlock when the outside wheel is driven faster by the ground then by the axle. They make a loud clicking sound when they unlock. I have them in both the front and rear differentials of my truck. A spool is what your thinking of.
I'm with this guy. Seems to be a lot of "throw parts at it til it's fixed" mentality going on in this thread. A bolt on V6 isn't a tire shredding machine. What bolt on's do you have already? What tires did you just buy? Are they crap?
ice and camaros dont mix. I just drove my camaro home and found out i have damn near 2 inches of ice under the show.. had it in drive and foot off the brake. I actually walked out of the car and the tire (driver) was spinning. moved the car about 2 inches, the driver side stopped spinning, and the pass side started spinning.. did I ever tell ya guys i hated ohio?
Sorry for going off subject.. But i didnt have any traction tonight either.. and my car is bone stock with new tires. but ya can get the speedo up to 80 mph and not move.. lol

true. it also depends on what rpm you are launching at. If you rev it to 5000 and dump it, of course its gonna spin.
btw, just hit me, A4 or T-5?
