i want to know how far can i lower my 2000 Camaro with out have a problem, i have 245/40/18 tires and my wheels have a 35mm off set. i had some serious weight in the back earler (about 1200lbs of concrete bags) and i noticed that my rear tires will tuck up inside the fender(rears was droped like 6 inches from the wieght) so i wanna know what would be a reasonable amout of drop for the whole car. i have seen lowering springs on ebay that are 1.5in drop but i wanna go around 2" or 3"
So you want to put it on the ground just about? For the front you could go with QA-1 coil over Shocks and springs since they let you adjust the height of the front end also have a knob for firmness of the shock you could put it on the ground just about if you wanted too. The rear I haven't seen a coil over for it unless QA-1 has one , but I haven't seen one for it. But you could just get some good shocks and then cut down the spring to lower the rear. I would suggest doing this at all having it that low , you'll wind up damaging something on it and all your suspension parts are going to get preworn along with your tires since I don't think they will be able to do a complete allighnment on it since it will be to low. I think the Eibach Pro kit will drop it 2"'s and thats all I would recommend, anything more is just going to be trouble.

ssms is right bro...lowering any more than 2" is going to be trouble. i have mine lowered with the eibach pro-kit and she sits plenty low---low enough to notice even getting in and out, and any road surface with a sudden grade or angled entrances take some extra time and maneuvering to keep from scraping anything. QA-1's are the holy grail of shocks for us, so check those out, but definitely don't do any drastic drops or you'll be kicking yourself in the end. i've already had to change my license plates from scraping and knocking mine off of my billet grille and losing it haha. best of luck to ya.
^ Damm that 2" drop is low, looks bad@ss, nice job. I had mine with a 1.5 drop with my ground efffects for along time and it always scrapped and I did the UMI tunnel mount TQ arm which hangs down too low. So recently I did the QA-1's up front with 300lb springs and Z28 springs in the rear with the heater hose mod with blistein shocks, the ride is outstanding along with the performance and handling, with about a 2" gap up front from tire to fender and 3" gap in the rear tire from fender. So I love the stance. Ballermaro13's car is the lowest you should go plus it looks great. KYB's are very good shocks , thats what I had up front before I switched shocks and work very well with the Eibachs for lowering.

thanks man, she appreciates the compliments lol. definitely a worthwhile mod and i love the performance (a lot of my boys roll in wrx's so i gotta be able to keep up on the twisties), and i cant wait for my new rims and tires setup and finishing up the suspension. any pics of yours??
Camaroman1221, my advice would be to stick with the eibach pro-kit (if you like the results) and try to save the 1/2 ton loads for a pickup lol. your shocks will thank you.
alright guy i can't find a 2" drop kit, closest i could find is a 1.5 on summit's website and a 1.4 on eibach website any suggestions where to find one? or is that what you have ballermaro13
the eibach kits are usually advertised pretty close in the 1.5" drop range, and i've seen some saying up to 2" before. they should all offer around the same results, so just find an eibach kit for a good price and go from there. results are always going to vary slightly from each application but you can clearly see the results i got from the kit so you should be just fine my man. i'd even consider ebay for a set if you can find them for a good price, but they should all give you similar drop.
sounds like a good plan to me...make sure and take some before and after pics of the drop and let us know how it turns out. good luck!
also, while you're in there, make sure and change out to some good shocks along with the eibach springs, and i'd highly consider an adjustable panhard bar and at least some lca relocation brackets to make sure that rear end stays lined up after the drop and you don't get massive wheel hop...lmperformance.com has some pretty good deals on suspension/lowering kits that'll take care of all that for you.
