Got my new shocks in the mail and I plan to install the rears myself and have a shop do the fronts. Is there anything wrong with having mismatching shocks for a while, new rears and worn out stock fronts?

Re: Shock install question
I think the new rears will put more stress on the front but if your going to replace them then I wouldn't worry about it. The front is going to be a hard ride. I have mismatching shocks QA-1's up front and Blistein in the rear, they work vey well together.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Shock install question
what shocks are you putting in? it shouldnt matter if you are going to be replacing them soon...be careful though, the car will drive with probably more oversteer since the backs will be stiffer then the fronts.
do me a favor...weight the stock shocks for me...I forgot to do that when I had mine done...and let me know what they weigh...then weigh the new shocks for me, and let me know what they are and how much they weigh....if you could please...
