im buying new tires all around shorty whats the best tires i should get for the o.e. size 235/55r16 for all around good tire price,longevity, traction wet/dry and look in ur opinion

I need some type of DOT drags the same size. If you come across any let me know. Otherwise I have to buy new rims just for the size difference. This is gonna be an expensive year.

when your shopping look for two main things, treadwear rating, anything over 380 is pretty good, and traction, usually you want AA rating as well.

I like my Kumho ecsta ASX's. Got them on rims though, so its not like I shopped around.

i have raptors now. when they get hot, they get sticky as hell! thats what i like about em.

be carefull with raptors though. i have them on my t/a. cheap for a reason. they're grippy but you'll tear them up if you burn out too much. i did one break stand and there's chunks taken out of the tread.

but for 235/55/16s, go with bfg traction ta's. best damn tire i've ever had.

For cheap good tires go with Kelly Fierce UHP's.

I work for a major tire retailer. They're amazing. Good reviews from everyone, cheap and reliable. Kelly is a subsidiary of goodyear.

Riken Raptor's are a good choice too. I'd still prefer the Fierce UHP tires tho.

Right now I have BFG G-Force tires great tires, but I will go back to the Kuhmos when these are done, the Kuhmos last longer and just like them better for driving.
