Rear
4 - Shaft Bearings
Contact dealer for most current part and price information.
12471606 $50.73
yeah your right. the front is the expensive one... so not too bad.
here are some instrucs... not trying to tell ya how to do it, but this is how the dealer does it.
- Remove the hub cap or the wheel trim cover (4).
- Remove the special security lock nut, if equipped. Use a special security wheel lock key located in the front floor console.
- Remove the wheel nuts (3).
- Mark the location of the tires and the wheels to the hub.
- Remove the tire and the wheel (2). Caution: Refer to Buildup of Corrosion Removal Caution in Service Precautions.
- Clean the following components:
- The wheel nuts (3)
- The wheel hub bolts (1)
- The wheel (2)
- The brake drum or rotor mounting surfaces
Installation Procedure
Caution: Never use oil or grease on studs or nuts. Tighten the wheel nuts with your fingers until they are snug. Then, tighten the nuts (in the sequence shown) to the fastener tightening specification shown in Specifications in this Section. Improperly tightened wheel nuts could eventually allow the wheel to come off while the vehicle is moving, possibly causing loss of control, personal injury, and property damage.
- Tighten the wheel nuts to specifications.
- Tighten the wheel nuts in increments of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.) in sequence up to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.) .
- Tighten the special security wheel lock nut, if equipped. Use a special security wheel lock key located in the front floor console.
- Install the hub cap or the wheel trim cover, if equipped.
- Tighten the wheel trim cover to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.) .
- Install the wheel nut cap, if equipped.
- Lower the vehicle.
also in case someone else wants to do it, its here now.
have fun man

Re: grinding noise when i turn to the right?
Could of been something got on the rotor. I always will go from 60 to 0 on a hard brake to get them cleaned up again. I think that hard of braking should get whatever is off the rotor. Or on your next rear brake job , make sure the pistons are lubed up well, because it could be a sticking piston also. Glad to hear it is doing well again. I have had my car over 13 years so I know about everything on it, every noise and what problem it might be.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
