I have a 2000 firebird 3.8 and I need to replace my springs and shocks and was wondering if this would be a good idea? http://www.lmperformance.com/4329/17.html

Re: SLP susp?
no. i would not buy those. i would get with sam strano. stranoparts.com.
he has one of the best springs out on the market. and i would get koni shocks if you have the change. if not then i would look into the kyb adjustable because with lowering springs bilsteins are not the way to go.

Re: SLP susp?
do you necessarily need springs? i have 160k miles on mine and he told me unless i wanted to lower i didn't need them if they sat right. but he told me the bilsteins new valving isn't the greatest and there are better options out there. i would give him a call he is very helpful and honest. he won't screw you thats for sure. heck he'll even tell you the best way to install them and give you directions on what settings are the best for your conditions if you go with adjustable shocks.
