The front of the car keeps vibrating when I brake and I don't know what it is. Also on any speed the car always pull to the right. When I brake, the front not only vibrates, but it goes to the right or to the left. It feels a little out of control. Discount Tire is doing rotation and balance every 6,000 miles. Also I have done alignment three or four times. Rotors has been resurfaced, new pads, tires checked, no fluid leaks, inner and outer rods replaced, pads have been change twice (warranty). Later I checked the front wheels and felt that the passenger’s was warmer than the driver’s. I’ve been reading that this is indication that calipers may be faulty (dragging brake). So, I replaced both calipers. Guess what? The car is still pulling to the right, but now the driver’s wheel is the one that gets warmer. This is driving me crazy!! I read later that when calipers and pads are OK, then the wheel bearings are worn/loose. What do you think? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wheel Bearings? What else?
Lower and upper A arm bushings, jack it up and see how much play there is if you pull on it, whiich should of been done if they aligned it. They grab the sides of the tire and move it then grab top and bottom and move the tire, if there is too much play either direction one or more of the bushings are worn out causing it to sway. You can get a alignment all day along but if the bushings are bad it won't help a thing. I've replaced both my front wheel bearings only because the speed sensors were shot and my car had 165,000 miles on it. The wheel bearings(hubs) I found on Ebay for $150 shipped for both wheel bearings(hubs) with speed sensors and with wheel studs already in them too, great buy.Last edited by ssms5411; 04-07-2009, 10:30 PM.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
