    Re: cars pulling

If you take it in for a allignment they be able to tell you what is wrong and they won't even do a allignment on it, just tell you what needs to be fixed and to bring it back and then they will allign it. Thats what they did with me, they said they could do the repairs or just do them and will allign it. Also no charge for them inspecting it, so when I did get it fix , doing ot myself I took it back and for $40 they alligned it. Very good Co. to deal with and very honest. I then got a lifetime allignment after I did my QA-1 springs up front from Firestone. I already got 3 allignments from them so I already got my moneys worth from them so far.LOL

put your hands on the 9' and 3' o clock positions and try to twist it, if you get any movement, its usually a tie rod

If you put your hands on the tire while it is jacked up grab the tire and try and twist the tire each way. If your hands are on the sides of it and it has alot of play it is the lower A arm bushing and if you grab it on top and bottom and it has alot of play upper A bushing, thats how it was explained to me and the Tie end rods could be the side to side movement , but it is good to replace them all at once if one of them are going out. Thats what I did and it worked wonders are my car. Moog lower bushings, and some of the middle line tie end rods and upper bushing. Good so far for 2 years. Just have to grease them about every 6 months since they have grease fittings unlike the stock ones.

The upper I beleive you need to take the shock out, the stock uppers need the rivets to be drilled out and the new ones come with bolts and nuts to mount them , lower is a pain most take it to a shop and have it press out and the new pressed in. The tie end rods just mark where you take them off then put the new ones back on same spot.
