well on my way home last night my brakes started acting up. when slowing the car down my brakes are ok until i hit about 10mph, then my "low trac" light flashes on and an audible grinding noise becomes apparent. while this is all happening it also feels like the ABS is kicking in to help stop the car. the problem only occurs from about 10mph to a stop, no other time during braking. any ideas on what could be wrong? something along the lines of a caliper sticking possibly?
I'd say start by cleaning off the wheel speed sensors. If ABS is kicking in but the car isn't even close to skidding, something is probably telling the computer your wheels are locking.
