Thanks , good to hear. But I will have to do the Vats correct? Or should it work fine since I have the Key with the new colunm. Does vats go to the BCM or to the PCM? If I relink vats will it reconize the key in the new colunm, I'm getting confused.

VATS goes to the BCM. The BCM tells the PCM if it's OK to run. The chip in the key has to match what the BCM wants. There is no way to change the chip the BCM wants. So with your new column you will have to use the bypass resistor with your old BCM untill you can have a new key cut... Or you can use the BCM that comes with the new column. You might have to relink VATS, you woln't know untill it's all installed. IF your keeping your oringal BCM I would say you will not have to relink. I changed the BCM with a used one and did not have to relink. I changed the PCM a few months after that and did not have to relink. SO I would try it before you try the relink.
Alright, that cleared it up thanks alot , for taking the time to explain it, I got confused because someone said the PCM controls vats but then I read others that said it was the BCM. I figured why would they send the colunm & key and the BCM, so that makes since. Thanks again.
