STB issue

Well, I bought a STB for my camaro, and guess what...it doesnt fit. The holes line up perfectly, however the bar hits the alternator. Any way to fix that, or am I just going to have to get a different STB?

I bought this one off a guy locally who used it on his '95 t/a.

The angle should go towards the cowl part, if is setup proper, so if yours is like that and not fitting then its the wrong one. But I thought mine didn't fit at first before I got the hang of it, putting it on and taking it off over time. If you can post a pic that would be good. SS Camaros I know are special and probably one for the T/A I would think.

the v6 and v8 stbs are different, the v6 one has more of a bend in it it clear the alternator.

sell it man, its never gonna fit

maybe its me, but id rather have the LCAs over the STB
