honestly I'm not so sure about the rear being over powering because even when wet I cannot get the rears to lock ( unless I use the E-brake) but the fronts will if I slam on the brakes to fast.
and trans I swapped the whole rear it was from a 2000 Automatic so same gears same ABS.
I'm going to install a proportioning valve from Jegs($45) that connects to the rear master part so I can adjust the rear so it doesn't over power the front
Installing the 98+ F-body twin piston caliper and 11.9" rotors in the FRONT will "overpower" the REAR. I'm on my third set of front pads and rotors since I did this mod, and the rears are still good. The car would "submarine" when braking hard. Installing the smaller piston Corvette front calipers have pushed more braking to the rear.
Thanks for the info Robert, little late , but I should of asked you before hand since I knew you had already done it. I'll run the valve until I get the bigger fronts put on in about a year.
