i've searched this site and a couple others and i've not found the info i'm looking for...
i'm in need of new shocks. i've read, in multiple places, that the bilsteins are losing quality and the kyb agx go downhill after a year or two. so, as far as i'm concerned, both of those are out. that leaves me with qa1 and koni. i'm not sure about the differences between them. i understand they are both adjustable and they are both expensive. is there a performance difference between the two? does one outlast the other? any help is highly appreciated.
side note: i want to maintain stock (or close) ride height - i don't want to have to change my springs.
my car: 1998 3.8L a4 camaro
current suspension/chassis modifications: 32mm front sway bar, 19mm rear sway bar, boxed 3-point SFCs
