Cheap, durable tires

I'm looking for a good, cheap, long lasting tire. I don't care about grip really, just want something that will pass the 30K mark my other tires seem to stop at. Looking for 2 in 245/50-16 size, any suggestions?

im using kumho ecsta ast's ... i've been satisfied with them but i dont do any outragous driving or anything ... i've put about 15k on them so far ... still look like they have a lot of life left in them ... i got all 4 for $400 including mount/balance

i also run kum hos on my beetle, and now my type 3, they are good too!

X2 on Kuhmos either the AST's or the other type I forget ,ran them for the longest until I just switched to BFG G-Force tires last year and I can't compare them since I don't drive much, put about 10 miles on my car this month if that.
