Anyone Use Kumho AST??

Hey all, been looking for tires and I found a deal on Kumho AST, all 4 for $340 installed. Anyone know anything about these?

That's damn cheap. My dad has the ASX on his Lincoln and seems to be pretty happy with them. Fairly quiet, good all around traction for the price. Not really a performance tire, and the AST even less so, but I think they are a decent tire.

When I put on my ASX's I noticed a huge diff, but I was upgraded from bald generals so who am I to say... lol... The Kumho's always had good consumer ratings when I worked at Sears...

i have the ASTs ... i've been very satisfied with them ... i dont do any extreme driving or racing or anything like that ... but they are a pretty good street tire


that's a good price too ... mine were like $425 installed

traction on wet roads i would say they are above average ... driving through standing water, i'd say they are slightly below average


i've had them a little over 2 years ... about 15k miles ... still have a lot of life left

Good DD tires and will last awhile, great deal on them.

Thanks again J and yes ssms5411, these will be DD tires and the "price is right" for sure.
I do believe I will be purchasing this set next week and am thankful to my fellow forum members for helping me out (again:)).
