The SLP fan switch is awesome, plug and play can't go wrong with it, I ve had it for 15 years or so.

Finally! here are some pictures of the area between the air filter box and the fuse/ relay box. The additional relay was wired into what I think is the #3 cooling fan relay, under the fuse box. The wire with the blue crimp is the ground that completes the circuit. I seem to be missing a relay for the "air pump" however. That has to do with the emissions system, right? As for the manual fan switch, i'll be stubborn and make one on my own with a dpdt switch.Last edited by Migo54; 01-24-2019, 11:19 PM.

Here is a little update: I deleted the extra relay powering the fans, and thankfully the connections weren't permanent. I ran my own wiring into the car and hooked up a switch for the fan, saving myself about 40 dollars (yes, money is tight and precious still). Next thing to go are the Chinese tires and perhaps the squeaky bushings. Thanks for the suggestions and help, but I dont mind a little of DIY once in a while.
Edit: here is some more; the car left me stranded twice now with the engine starting, idling very roughly and stalling out. After about half an hour of fiddling under the hood (doing visual checks), the car would start just fine. After the second time, I replaced the fuel filter and It seemed to help out, however the old filter had the paper element loose inside the metal case.Last edited by Migo54; 02-15-2019, 03:46 PM.
