  • Looking forward to learning

I have a 1996 Camaro convertible RS with 118,000 summer only KM’s. So far I have just enjoyed having a convertible. Winter is almost over in Ontario Canada so I can’t wait to get it out of storage. It is stock so I am hoping to learn more about mods that can improve sound and performance.

Nice look! Any plans for her? I took mine out of storage and just looked out the window to see it snowing… typical Ontario weather lol

She is in underground parking for now. Had it out for a quick run a week ago. Would like to put an exhaust and cold air intake to start.

If your going to do a exhaust, go with a 2.5” pipping or 3” if your going to really modify it. Dynomax turbo mufflers are great, then add a electric exhaust cutout, you’ll be able to adjust the sound.

Welcome to the board. Yes, exhaust and intake are the two most basic mods.
