Re: 3.42 rearend
I have a 3.42 Zexel in mine. What year is your vehicle? Mine is a 1993 so it has rear drum brakes, but you could swap the disc brake items over if yours is a newer one. I am located in Louisville, KY.- Josh<br />If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com<br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/viper98885\" target=\"_blank\">\'93 Camaro Hardtop</a><br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/01lincolnls8\" target=\"_blank\">\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport</a><br />\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6<br /><a href=\"http://www.ftpp.net\" target=\"_blank\">Full Throttle Performance</a>

Re: 3.42 rearend
I'm not sure if I would want a Torsen unit. I would rather go with the Auburn carier. Have not heard anything good about the Torsen. Of course, with our v-6 cars, probably wouldnt' break it. I got a 3.42 out of a 96 T/A with the LT1 and 5 spd and put in my 94 Bird. I ended up changing it back to the factory 3.23 gears b/c I drive 120 miles everyday.

Re: 3.42 rearend
It's called Zexel-torsen. The other kind is an Auburn or an Eaton which use a clutch/spring setup.- Josh<br />If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com<br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/viper98885\" target=\"_blank\">\'93 Camaro Hardtop</a><br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/01lincolnls8\" target=\"_blank\">\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport</a><br />\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6<br /><a href=\"http://www.ftpp.net\" target=\"_blank\">Full Throttle Performance</a>

Re: 3.42 rearend
If it is the stock rear end, you can look at the manufacturer's sticker in the glove box for the axle code.- Josh<br />If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com<br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/viper98885\" target=\"_blank\">\'93 Camaro Hardtop</a><br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/01lincolnls8\" target=\"_blank\">\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport</a><br />\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6<br /><a href=\"http://www.ftpp.net\" target=\"_blank\">Full Throttle Performance</a>
