I think that a lot of us (myself included) wrongly think that as long as we don't drive stupidly that nothing will happen.

And now we lose a badass sixxer to some dumb lady who didn't look before turning. He made a thread on ftv6, but I figured I would mention it here also. A LOT of time and money went into that car, and it was destroyed in a matter of seconds. Thank baby jesus that he walked away from this accident unharmed though.
I guess its just disturbing when stuff like this happens to people we know, it really sets in that at any given time our very being can be threatened so seriously.

At Least he walked away fine I hope and can part out his upgraded parts for cash plus the amount of the totalling of the car. He should sue the other ladys insurance for another cost of a F-body. The difference in cost from the totalling and buying a F-body from the same year or newer even a V8. Also time off work and any medical check ups. I got about $20,000 from my front end accident in 00', pain & suffering , loss of work and they spent another $6500 redoing my whole front end, drivers door, center console and paint. If he parts it out, tell him I'll buy the Performbuilt II tranny if he parts it out. To help him out and me, just tell him to PM me on here since I can't over there.

lol the insurance company will be coming by to check it out. once they come by i will attempt to strip whatever i can.

the majority of stuff i will be keeping to either swap onto my next DD car or my next v6 car.

thanks for the kind words folks....i'm still a little bit in shock but anyone who sees the car in person says the same thing... "how are you still alive" and i am finally starting to seriously see the same way. i did not move at all in the collision. the car was still rolling when i jumped out ready to kill the *****...but instead i had to sit down on the curb and try not to break down lol.

i've had this car since i was 16. RIP lil sixer!

and of course...i saved the emblem from the front and the camaro emblem from the inside about the radio bezel. couple lil memoirs.
