Well, GM has done it again. Due to strict emission and MPG laws, they had to downsize the new Trans Am and make it a hybrid.

i dig that-haha! somebody has quite a sense of humor...& WAY to much time on their hands to go to all that trouble, now they just need to add some little 13" snowflake wheels... haha! hey, on that note, has anyone else seen the TRANS AM Kit on the cover of last months HOT ROD Magazine? heres a link if yall wanna check it out...ive heard mixed reviews, but i like it, to bad gm killed off pontiac, but this guy says when perfected, he might sell it as a DIY kit? ...of couse...ya gotta have a new camaro to put it on...but still cool lookin http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicl..._am/index.html

Projects like this might influence GM to make limited production runs of "sister" cars like the Firebird, Solstice etc, where they don't have to do a full re-tooling for a Pontiac only chassis. A few different body panels, thicker sway bars, and other bolts on's could be done right on the Chevy/Saturn production lines.

Regarding the TA conversion kit - I've seen others that look better. I'm not sure I like the big lower lip.

I heard from a guy who comes into my store who has an 2010 camaro that is putting out over 500hp that he had read in one of his camaro mags that GM was looking to bring pack pontiac and the trans am in the next few years all depending on how the camaro sells and epa regulations and all. Not sure how true this is, but I sure hope its true.

I heard from a guy who comes into my store who has an 2010 camaro that is putting out over 500hp that he had read in one of his camaro mags that GM was looking to bring pack pontiac and the trans am in the next few years all depending on how the camaro sells and epa regulations and all. Not sure how true this is, but I sure hope its true.

i doubt it, but pontiac is the only brand they werent willing to sell...

have you seen it in person? if not i think you'd change your mind quickly, the car looks rediculously fat and the back end is just a sin.
