  • Co-worker turned down Soltice for the Z4

Last week she's been asking me alot about the Pontiac Soltice. I guess she saw the car from the show Apprentice. I told her that I saw it at the Auto and I gave her alot of positive stuff on it. I even gave her the brochure that I got from there.

Now this is a lady that doesn't know horsepower from torque and probably doesn't care for it. All she cares about if it's nice and has sex appeal.

Well she went to the Pontiac dealer and submitted an order for it. With the type of color and everything on it. The dealer told her that she would have it by the summer of this year. Then all of a sudden they told her that she won't have it till January of next year.

She was so angry and disappointed that she cancelled right away and bought herself a brand new BMW Z4. Not bad at all. She promise to give me a ride today. ;)

    I might take a Z4 over a Solstice.

And whats up with GM and trying to make a crazy Demand for cars... you can order it months in advance and not even see it before you buy it

Wait 8 months to get a car you started paying for... Anyone remember the GTOs? Limited number you had to "order right away" or you wouldn't get one... and there are still '04s on lots.

She shoulda waited and bought a Saturn Sky instead of looking at the Solstice. May have to wait a while, but I'd rather have that than the Solstice. But a Z4 was a good choice.

My sister has a Z3. I agree, the body style looks very classy on the Z3.

By the way. The engine on that site is the same as my sister. And that supercharger, that's a Powerdyne with an intercooler. I wonder how much boost that car is putting out

I think the Z4 is much nicer than the Solstice.

I was looking at Z4's the other day, debating what would be a classy, sporty car that still got a pretty decent gas mileage. Damn things get the same crappy gas mileage as my fireturd. Then my g/f made the comment of, "Where would you put your snowboard?" and that pretty much scratched that car off the list.
