I have an older sound blaster audigy plantum in the old beast and I finally got some nice logitech X-530 speakers on sell at wall mart today. I pluged all three wires(green, black, and orange) into their corrresponding places but I can only get the front left/right speaker's and the sub to play. the center and rear's are not working. I tried diffrent combinations of how they are plugged in but nothing works. I checked off the setting I could think of and everything seems like it is in the green. I am stumped. any ideas?

I should note that any of the wires that are plugged into the #1 slot works. its the 2 and 3 slot that I can't get anything out of so I belive it is either the card itself or a setting, not the speakers

You've probably got system set up to use stereo speakers. I'm not sure about the Audigy 1, but my Audigy 2 has it's own control panel software that has a speaker setup section, where I can select the output schema. Headphones, stereo, 5.1, etc.
