Got a Tattoo

Well, we left for vacation this past Sunday, and by Monday I had gotten my first tattoo!

I didnt' think that it hurt, but I nearly passed out...lol seriously. The dude had to stop and feed me Mountain Dew 'til my body temp wasn't 10000 degrees. All in all a good experience.

AND btw, it's on my upper right shoulder blade. It's about the size of a half dollar

I knew it was gonna be the cliche girl butterfly before i even clicked it. Guy did pretty good, nice shading. Cant believe you almost passed out from that, Longest ive spent at one time getting tattoed is 4 1/2 hrs. I started singing.

btw, 97chevy, 4 1/2 hours is a pretty nice time. They say the human body can't take more than 3 1/2 hours, but my bro spent like 5 or 6 when he was getting the tattoo on his leg [img]smile.gif[/img] Had to go back to get it finished too, its huge.

yeah it only took him like 15minutes to do it. It's purple, green and yellow.

Yeah I hated to fall into the whole "butterfly" thing but I just think it's pretty.

Give me some credit for @ least not getting it @ the bottom of my back! lol

You should get tattoos like mine, then you can walk around with a sleveless shirt and shorts and people will run away and hide their children from you

During my tattoo I had to stop during the first 5 minutes. My body temp was rising and I was sweating. We took a couple minute break to smoke a cigarette then I say down for 3 more hours without a problem. My body just didnt like the initial shock but got use to it pretty quickly.
I would get another tattoo in a second if I thought of something to go along with my original in a heart beat. The pain isnt bad since it dulls out quickly.

Mine's a fairy with butterfly wings so it definitely falls into the "chick" category, but mine is about 6" by 5" on my right shoulder blade, which is pretty big... ;) I love it though..

p.s. I do have the typical sun on my lower back too [img]smile.gif[/img] It was my first one and I try to put my tattoos on places on my body that will NEVER stretch [img]tongue.gif[/img]

hahah yeah, I was gonna get mine on the "ovary area" but then realized I don't want a saggy baggy butterfly to be left after i have a baby
