My first toys as a toddler were Hot Wheels, and it just went from there :D It peaked when, during my sophomore year of HS 10 years ago, I took an engines class. 1 hour per day, every day of nothing but tearing down and rebuilding automotive engines. I learned more during that 1 class than I did my entire 4 years of HS.
I still have the Hot Wheels, they're just bigger and much more expensive :D
i always pushed things to the limit or as fast as they could go..when i was a kid it was model rockets and RC cars..i always had to be the highest or the fastest..when i got a little older it was racing downhill mountain bikes..went through a few of them and just as many broken bones before i decided to call it quits with them..then..i wanted a Camaro since before i could even drive..i just liked the look..so i bought a V6..cheaper gas and insurance..it wasnt long before i felt that need for speed..so here i am still pushin it to the limit
I had no care for car stuff. I just drove my car. Then I was kit in the head by my 88 camaro, and I suppose that made me a gearhead. The reason I say this is cause it was destroyed (chick pulled across the highway in front of me) and with my insurance money I bought my 95 camaro (in 2001). It was something I could actually work on (once I could walk again and the head was better), so that's what I started with.

I was really young. My dad had an MGB 78? And he'd drive fast on curvy backroads, I was young so we called them "weeeee roads" And hot wheels cars, of coarse.
I'm going to blame Dad ... growing up on a farm ... having friends that raced dirt track ... and the famous words "Here's a Haynes manual, there are the tools. You bought it, you can fix it."
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
