yeah, my kids first car will be no more than a v6, or no more than 200 hp... you need a slower car to learn in for sure, hes had his car for a while, and im not sure if alcohol was involved, he seemed like a pretty clean guy, sometimes you can just mess up though... ya know? ive almost ruined my ride but got incredibly lucky and just seemed to "float" out of the situation leaving me stunned....

Aw man, I'm sorry to hear it...

I know what it's like to lose someone in a car accident though. It's happened to me more than a few times.

The way that good ol' California is going with it's ****ed up emission laws, your kid's first car is going to be run on eco-friendly D batteries and cow farts.

A roll bar wouldn't do much if you wrap your car around a tree. If you meant a roll CAGE, then I'm sure the extra enforcement would help. But I personally believe that if you're going to get a roll cage in your car just for safety purposes on the street in a not-very-fast v6 f-body, I'd say you might as well have a fireproof suit on and a helmet too. Oh, and never go over 25mph.

You only live once... you just gotta be careful with that one chance. ;)
