SO I live in a new construction neighborhood, occasionally get a screw int eh tire but ehh thats nothing.

best advantage!

FREE WOOD!!! and other building supplies.

I built this beauty for $4 in screws(still have 3/4s the box left)

I think I am going to get this $10 a sheet tileboard to use as the top, to make it "grease/liquid" resistant. Already picked it and priced it out.

Also snagged half a gallon of royal blue/navy blueish paint from work we were going to through out, I was thinking of painting the entire thing, except for the white top, when I get the sheet of tile board.

Also thinking of picking up another $10 pegboard to hang on the wall above it.


also got a bunch of decently thick sheetmetal might try to make a FTRA, or SSRA sometime.


PS also think I have enough wood I could board up the new place if we happen to get a hurricane. but jsut snagging that to plan to put in the attic for future use(which the floor is already covered in wood, that wa free as well ;) )

My place was one of the last places ont eh street, nearest "newly being built" places are like a mile away, and even if they were doing it next door I wouldn't worry about overspray at all.


BTW just so peopld don't get the wrong idea... this is all scraps in open top dumpsters, not stealing buiilding supplies, actually saving the contracters money by less weight in the dumpsters [img]smile.gif[/img]

the only advantage i can say an apt has over a house..... is i dont have to pay for my internet... i do a search and get like 4 wireless connections to choose from...... which is how im posting now... :)
