  • bank of america SUCKS!

They took out $600 out of my checking account for "overdraft protection" fees. I didn't EVEN ASK for overdraft protection. Now i have $230 for 4 months to live on. Time to go ***** the living hell out of the bank.

Wow did you have a serious issue of spending more money than you had? I know my bank (southtrust, now wachovia) nails you 30.00 for insufficient funds, PER transaction.

If you don't know how this happened, I'd look into someone frauding your account. :(

overdraft protection is different than insufficient funds fees. O.P. is a service that does somthing to protect you from overdrawing your account, not sure exactly how it works, but yeah

edit - i'm reading this as like $600 in sign up or monthly fees of overdraft protection, or are you talking about inufficient funds?

</font>[/QUOTE]My only problem was depositng payroll checks in the ATM, on 2 occasions they held the check and money for 2-3 weeks.

I gave up on it and just go inside everytime I need to switch to direct deposit.

You aren't just gonna let them take the money are you?

No way in HE11 I would let that slide.

Most banks usually charge you $33 for insufficient fund. I used to be Wells Fargo but I decided to go back to go B of A because Wells Fargo had more hidden fees than I thought. Plus their customer service was lousy.

The best thing to do is to talk to the head manager and tell them about your dilema and hardship. Tell them you have no job and such. So this way they could reverse some of that insufficient Fees.
