The problem with apartments....

is that you always get crap mail for the previous renters. I know a little about this apartment and it's residents. There was one renter that had babies (had to go to the leasing office and sign for a box... that contained 2 Pampers diapers as part of a free trial). Another renter now owns a home. I keep getting the insurance policy for his home. In the past 16 months I've lived here, I have returned 4 envelopes to the company with a note "no longer at this address"... doesn't stop them. I think I've gotten a total of 8 or 10 letters.

Well I've had enough. On the back of the latest envelope is the following:

To whom it may concern,
Get a clue. Armish Lal has not lived here for at least 18 months. This is the 4th letter I've returned. Call him/her and get a current address. You would hope that for such important papers a company would see fit to verify an address. Damn, I am glad I don't do business with you.
Merry Christmas and all that crap.

Hope they get the point this time.

We get mail for the tenants from like the past five years. We get coupons, magazines, bank statements, bills, and even jury summons. The sheriffs office even came with a warrant for someone that lived here two years ago. Guess thats what happens when you live in college apartments.

kinda makes you want to put it on little address labels, slap it on those envelopes & send it back real quick like.

Also, for junk mail you keep getting, tear up all the crap yo get & put it in the return envelope. It's already paid for so why waste it???

Don't use the apartment address for any mail. Use a PO box.

Man a house isn't much better we still get stuff from the previous owner and we have lived here for...geez... 7 years now.

an old lady used to live in our condo... there are still the hand rails in the bathtub lol. they've saved my neck on a couple occasions though... anyway, she had a service deliver her meds every month. when she moved to a nursing home, nobody told this service, so they kept leaving bags of meds on our doorstep. free drugs. lol j/k. i think my dad just took them back to the company.
