Looking back on it for me, it was a pretty great year. I graduated high school and started my first semester of college. With starting college it means i lived on my own for the first time. I had so much fun and some awesomely great times. I also matured a lot, i came to some realizations that i needed to make.
How was your year?

06 was decent. I got the camaro and bought a condo. Other than that everything pretty much blows. My job sucks and I have no money. This is going to be a great year, I can feel it. Read sarcasm into that.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
-got a heaping assload of medical debt taken care of
-paid off an $6k in regular debt related to medical problems
-bought a ring and got engaged
-realized racing a 5-speed on a consistant basis is bad idea.
2006 was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
I slowly continued to watch as workmen's comp. payments did not provide for my family and my bank account declined by the week.
I added 7 more knee/leg surgeries onto my ever growing knee/leg surgeries making it finally get to that great number of 18.
I watched as my case worker complained about paying over $1.8 million dollars of my medical bills.
Then, to seal the deal of '06 being the greatest year ever, in October my doctor told me that my leg will have to be amputated in 5 years or less.
Other than all that cool jazz and what not, my wife and I had another great year of marriage (or at least the best we can have, with me being in pain all the time). And, watching my daughter grow from just being 8 months at the beginning of 06, to now being 20 months at the end of 06. And thankfully being disabled so that I got to spend every waking moment of every day with her beautiful self and just play the day away with her.
If you don't have kids, don't have them until the time is right. But I'm going to let you know now, having kids (if you still act like a kid yourself) is the greatest thing in the world. Always have someone that's going to laugh if you laugh first, and really just follow your every move. Once in awhile it can become a little too much, but I wouldn't trade my daughter for anything in the world, accept maybe a little boy. J/K
The reason behind me still finding good in the year '06

Sorry to hear about comp and stuff. What a pain. I always wonder why they don't make things simple.
Looks like you got a good looking family. Cute kid. You're a lucky man. Good advise too.
My '06 was better than my '03, '04, and '05. For one thing I got better control of my finances with all my credit card debt. The only thing was bad was my rent shooting up to another $200 and the worst thing about it is that the apartment is falling apart.
I'm hoping for '07 that I will have a better job and lease a house. I want my Firebird in a garage instead of a port.
She is really cute .............. sorry about the medical bills and stuff ......... hope you get a NICE settlement ............
2006 was a great year ........... thanks to god i was not sick once in the whole year (not even flu) .......... i have got a better job which pays more and i work less............. bought my camaro in 2006 ............. i didnot had any debt in 2006 .......... actually i was in the positive figure.......... overall i'd have to say it was a good year ........... i was so busy with my school, it seemed like the year just flew by real fast............. i got a scholarship which paid 1st year of my radiology school ............ hopefully 07 will be just as good as 06 .......... amen ............
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
