Rolex 24 *Pics & Vids*

Stopped by the Rolex 24 from about 9 to midnight last night. $50 for infield tickets, plus $35 for garage access. Had an awesome time, and I never imagined I could get so close to the action. Eric, I know you like to go out to see it. Was anyone else around last night?

I toook that pic at like LOL we probably missed each other by like 20 min tops...

Either way I had a blast, I camped out in the infield, have the ram, and assloads of stuff had a blast, kicked ***! I didn't take too many pics this year, my camera is getting a little rough, and ehh, I have hundreds of pics from other years.

Holy crap you really did get close to the action. I'm surprised they didn't hand you a torque wrench and tell you to get to work. I'm a huge J.P. Montoya fan, I'm stoked he got that win to add his resume...

Naw... I was wearing jeans, navy blue hoody, and black hat. Crazy you didn't see me(most people don't miss the 6'5" 300 lbs guy)


I love rolex, its crazy how close you get in there... **** when they were changine the clutch brakes and more on a porsche one of the guys was looking for lugnuts, and I pointed at a pile of lugnuts on a table and said lugnuts, guy thanked me.

Whats even crazier, is you get that close to the action, and you have famous poeple there. I mean **** I was 10 feet form Tony stewart when his car was in the garage. We got close to Jeff Gordon(my girl is a gordon fan)... past years she got her picture with Jimmy Johnson. I got my pic with Danica Patrick, but my eyes are closed. :rant:


By far of all the racing series I have ever been to, Rolex is the best. You will be walking through the pits, hear a motor rev, and see a beat to hell race car limping its way into the garage area at like 60mph, you don't get out of the way, you will get run down.


and beyond that, the whole weekend is like 36 hour long party in the infield. Assloads of drinking and partying.
