  • Graduated and Commissioned

FINALLY!!!! I graduated on Friday with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Saturday I commissioned into the Air Force as a 2d Lieutenant. WOOT!! :D

We had a party last night, I am still recovering...lol.

5 long years of college and its finally over. I'll miss some parts of college but I am ready to move on in life. I was getting extremely burned out with tests, projects, papers and homework.

Check out what my parents got me as a graduation and commissioning gift. Most people that I know get money, a nice suit or pen sets for graduation, but my family of gearheads is a lil different LOL.

I got a lil bit of money too, so I MIGHT be calling Perfomabuilt soon ;)

Congrats. Good luck with that! I just graduated from McGill University with a bachelors of Arts in Sociology. Instead of heading into the job market like you, I'm off to the University of Toronto in Criminology for my Master's.

bah! i live both lives right now (i co-op 6 months out of the year) and i'll be much happier when i'm done and working full time. The thing people forget about when they remember college is how damn poor you are, and seeing 4 digit loans grow to 5 (or in my case) 6. lol, and technical schools dont offer much in the way of females, so its not like i really have a vice i can fall back on either.

congrats dude! i know BS's are not easy degrees by any strech of the imagination. enjoy your new payscale!
