i've had my beater for 2 years now. she is a 1984 toyota corolla sr5 with 93k. she is a VERY rare car sine it is the 84 sr5 2 door (non hatch back)she run perfect. when i got her, she stalled out everyday(she's an auto) and had alot of rust problems etc. i fixed everything and haven't had any problems in a long time. i have been stalked on 95 to the point that they went to the off ramp with me and went to the mcdonalds to see if i would sell them my car. since then 4 other people have tryed to buy my car. no one has told me the price that they would pay. but i think that if the money was right i would sell it. i just don't get, what is so special about this car? can someone tell me what is?
84-87 Corollas have a FR drivetrain and a good weight distribution. They are commonly reffered to by their chasis code AE86. I don't know specific details about how rare hatches and coupes are or sr5 vs GT-S, but basically they are a popular drift car. So get out there and slide it into a tree.
I know the AE86s in ok shape were selling for as high as $6k
I'd join a toyota board, do some searches and research... then post it for sale and say you sat in it once wearing nothing but a thong likely get an extra $100 out of it.
i would only sell it right now for 2500. i know that it's worth that. i don't have to sell it. i was just stating that people have offered to buy it before. but again, if someone say 2500. it would be gone. and yes it is the rwd, ae86. it's a very rare car. i have it up for sale on that toyotanation. i don't anything will come of if. and like i said. i really don't care lol.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
