Re: massive oil deposit could increase US reserve 10x
Gas prices are not going to drop even with this old reserve. As long as oil trades in the futures market, you will never see low prices again. People buy and sell oil just like regular stocks. Everyone wants to buy low and sell high so don't expect the oil prices to drop as long as demand is high. The fact that India and China are buying lots of oil only increases the price. I'm not saying the exxon etc isn't part of the problem either, but no one points a finger a the sob's on wallstreet. Everything is driven by the stock market. I don't care if we all drive fuel cell cars in the future. The same folks who run the oil industry will control that as well. Fuel, whatever type is never going to be cheap ever again.
91 makes the engine run smoother...at least thats what I notice...plus I do auto-x...
All 91 octane does is supposedly clear some of the gunk out that the 87 leavfes behind, but at a price. 91 is only recommended for engines with FI or cars like corvettes that have a big V8. My dad has to fill his '68 corvette with a 454 big block up with 91.
