            Re: Photography

I liked loneliness a lot, but I think a more pulled out view would've been nice. It would've made the chair smaller and would've emphasized the whole 'just a grain of sand on a giant beach' thing. How it is though, the colors and framing works really nice.

The bees one, was that with a Macro lens or 18-35? I like up close shots a lot (I'll post one of mine), so I really like that one. More detail though would make it stand out imo.

Birds is neat framing, but underexposed.
Emptiness is overexposed, but I think that's what you were going for there.

I'm no expert so take my advice with a grain of salt. Overall, I think they're really nice.

Here are some shots I've taken that are in the same theme as yours. I don't have titles for mine, so I'll just use yours so you know what to reference.

note: This is not with a macro lens. It's actually with a telephoto 55-200 because I refused to get close to the bastard. You can def tell by the blurring.

            Emptiness

Emptiness was taken in India. I took a week and a half trip there and spent the majority of my time taking photographs of everything. The wildlife and stray animals were heartbreaking, so I tried to capture that.

This is a great thread. I was taking some picture of my Z with the Canon SD750. Nothing special, just used the black and white + color invert option on the camera.

Oh BTW, let's keep this thread away from ALL photoshops. Natural (no photoshop) photography ONLY

I would have liked to seen this with a slightly shallower DOF, but very, very nice imagery my friend.

I resize mine and add a border in photoshop, so I hope that's still ok for the no photoshop rule.

I resize mine and add a border too, so thats fine.

were just talking about massively editing it.
anyone can edit a picture to look great.

but can you take a great picture using just the camera?

SceneisKeen, how can you take such good pictures of stuff yet such crappy pictures of your car, like your sig pic?

Seems odd to me, and all the pics ive seen of your car really arent anywhere close to the quality and art of the ones you post.

and you have no pictures of your car either, in your deviant art though you have a car section.
