i was thinking about getting a 85 camaro with a 305 but i heard that they are slower than a 3.4 is that true?

depends, most 305s are slow because theyre running like doo doo.
is it an lb9? thats the best one. the l69 isnt bad, but the lg4 is pretty ***. still has more torques than a 3.4l.
theyve all got tons more potential than a 3.4l, and parts are cheap too.
i drove an lb9 and it was slower than my 3.4, but it had also been sitting for atleast 5 years. properly running, itd be no contest.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2265676\" target=\"_blank\">95 bright red camaro 3.4l</a>

i beat my friends 305 tpi in his 91 camaro. ~60k original miles on it1999 v6 Camaro M5

stock they suck nuts. BUT, it doesnt take much to get them on the right track/
