I just went down to the track for the 1st time since I had my camaro, but didn't run it cuz it was the 2nd day opening and there were a lot of people down there. I was kind of mad I didn't see any v6 camaros down there. I will run it in 2 weeks, (next friday I'm busy). I was curious as to what I would run. The only mods on my car are...

1).Ram Air Hood with Custom Ram Air, K&N
2). Custom Computer Programming (Not Sure On Specs it was done before I had the car)
    3). Dynomax Muffler Back 2.5"

I would think I would run atleast 15s. My friend who knows nothing about camaros is pretty sure i'll run 17s or possibly 16s. I want to prove him wrong. My goal for now is to get into the 14s, what should my next mod be. 3.42 gears? How much would they run me. How much would a High Flow CAT and headers do for me. And what are some good track tips. Im kinda not sure if I should take out my air filter when I run. Especially with Ram Air? And how great will a manual fan switch and 160 thermo do me?
    Thanks for your help

getting to 14 isnt easy unless you live in houston. it isnt cheap either. as for the mods you said- the more mods the better. i would quess you will be mid 15s.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

I would say mid 15s. Unless you have 3.42, don't expect any incredible time. I have almost the same work as you and I pull 15.2 on 3.42s so you can expect a 15.5 or so

Your next mod before anything else should be LSD!! You need something to transfer power to the ground more effectively. If you can get the 3.42's to go along with it. Dont get a 160 get a 180. The fan switch will definitely help you while you are waiting in the staging lines. a high flow cat will make your exhaust louder and increase airflow alittle. same for headers. when at the track lower your rear tire pressure.
