  • Exposing MAF screen

While I was racing a month ago I removed my airfilter one run and it erased like .4 seconds off of my time. Even so the air had to travel down my ram air system. What would happen if I took my ram air off just exposing the MAF screen where the throttle body is? I know it wounds crazy I probably wouldn't do it but I'm just curious.

probably no difference as you had already removed the restriction of your filter. The engine was breathing as much and as fast as it could with out the filter on.
