HEY, I DRIVE A 3.8 CAMARO, AND MY FRIEND HAS A FORMULA 1 AND HE HAS A STOCK LT1 AND HE IS ALWAYS TALKIN SMACK. HE CLAIMS THAT LT1'S MAKE LS1'S LOOK SLOW. I AM ABOUT TO HOOK UP A 75 WET SHOT AND I WANT TO KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO PULL ON HIM? IF HAVE ANY COMMENTS FEAL FREE TO SPEAK. THANKS. IF U ALSO KNOW WHAT ELSE I CAN DO TO
CAR TO EMBARRASS AN LT1 LET ME KNOW.
first off your friend is retarded... an LS1 would spank an LT1 stock for stock and with equal mods...
what has been done to your friends LT1? loose the CAPS man we don't like being yelled at ;)
n/m your friend is stock. if he's an A4 you might hang with him... if he has a manual don't count on anything. you aren't going to win unless he spins off the line all day

well he actually drives an automatic. he has no traction control and i do so that might be a factor. i know that might not be enough but it is a start. i know a stock LT1 has about 287 rear wheel hp, i had a dyno and i am running 215 hp at the rear wheels. i was hoping a 75 shot would keep me close. if u know of any other mods i could make that would help please let me know.
damn kid you really pulled those #'s out of your @$$ didn't you?! your car is good for 200 at the fly stock so unless you've picked up an extra 40-50hp of some mods i really don't think you have that kind of power. i'd bet my left nut on it
and your friends stock LT1 has either 275-285 AT THE FLY depending on what year it is

Well the dyno said. i know the guy who had it before me added few mods and i put duel exhaust on it. it might have been 215 at the fly , but im no sure. i belive my friend drives a 95 formula, and yes he is retarded for even thinking an lt1 can come close to an ls1. what cheap and eay mods can i make on my car at the moment?
