The AUTO vs. Manual plots are pretty informative.

Appears Manual has a SLIGHT edge for MPH, but Auto has an edge on 60' times (assuming I am reading the graphs right).

I have the same type of graphing of all my runs on Excel. I love that program.

I'm pretty sure the 60' times have to do with driver skill, as it is easier to launch an automatic.

well, a few of those prove one point definately. there are a lot fo peopel around here that need to stop adding power and worry about hooking and having the right gears in the car.

You guys are just figuring out that auto cars 60' harder than a manual? And that a manual traps higher than an auto? And that generally, the auto's with a power adder are going to run faster than the manual?

Welcome to drag racing! And yes, I agree that ALOT of people should take advantage of our sponsor's next suspension sales! You can make all the power in the world, have a nice trap speed, and no ET (see Supra drag racing 101).

Can't check since the timeslip page is down but maybe Joe Palermo? He was around before this board existed. He had a supercharged 99 Camaro, with many other mods. A big problem he had was he hit the speed limiter before the end of the track, do to gears and no recalibration. This was before the HPPIII was out and readily known for 3.8s.
