  • Back from the track...

    car did better but still needs to be fine tuned, still running a little lean.

    But my runs were pretty good, just my tires really suck.

    Best mph :94.2
    best ET: 15.1
    best 60' 2.23 ( missed 3rd on that run, go figure)

    here is the time slip for my best run.

    r/t: .564
    60': 2.324
    330: 6.433
    1/8: 9.842
    MPH: 72.93
    1000: 12.697
    1/4: 15.124
    MPH: 92.95

    need to get myself a set of drag radials

      intake, exhaust, abbott long tubes, aluminum ds, 1.9 roller rockers,105# springs, Top end rebuilt with mildly self ported heads, .03'' head mill

      I can feel the car has a lot more in it. I am finally getting my shifts really good

          If you want I'll show you how to drive a 5 speed.LOL We'll have to plan a trip for the track for the end of this month, I have too many Dr. appt until after the 21st. I also want to hit the dyno inbetween and I need to put on some new brake lines. Looking at the calender how about the 25th. I'll give you a call when I get a dyno time.

                yeah my tires were even slipping a little when i shifted 1st-2nd

                  with that high of trap speed you should be in the 14's:tup:
                  Maybe you traction issue is bad track prep?

                            No, just dyno #'s 288 Hp/ 330 TQ, that was before the racing rebuild. I know it was over 300 HP at the wheels after the racing rebuild. The nitrous feels alot stronger and the cam seems to like it. So I hope to put out some good #'s with a 125, 150 and maybe a 200 wet shot on the dyno, depending on how things go. At the track will see.
