ESCT or whatever the fudge it is. Who here has dealt w/it? I have the service manual, but all tricks of the trade are welcome ;)
Once this is fixed, car should run correctly. Surges now, but the exhaust leak is fixes, and dayum, that dynomax cat back is awesome sounding

I am guessing that you already checked the connector for the timing. This is the connector that you unplug to check your base timing. If the connector is bad or corroded, it will set this code. Besides a bad computer, I think the only thing that will set that code is a bad/loose connector or wire.

You guessed wrong. Which connector is it? None of the material I have, or can find, says where it is.

I ran across this on another forum, actually a S-10 forum so things may not be where it says, maybe it will help anyways.
<blockquote>quote:</font><hr> That code you have is usualy registered when you unhook the wire for setting your timeing. Check to see if its connected or not its on the pass side just above the carpet only wire that sticks out of the harness that goes thru the firewall.
If thats not the problem you will want to check your knock sensor and the controller for it (black box on firewall by wiper motor) and all related wireing. <hr></blockquote>

Actually,

Ok, glad that helped. If you still haven't found the connector, mine is located in the wiring harness around the blower motor. The connector will be hanging out of the wiring cover. The wire is brown with a black stripe.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
