    which way does the waterpump spin on your 2.8L?

    clockwise or counter clockwise, looking straight at it head on.

        That's funny. My 2.8 water pump spins in the opposite direction as the crank. What year is yours?

          one way it will suck coolant the other it will blow [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] :D , same as the motor

            Yes, I got that. The only reason I asked was because the pulley on my water pump is smooth while the pulley attached to the crank is grooved. The only way the belt would work is if it snaked through the two pulleys making the 'S'. If that is the case, the pulleys will spin in the opposite direction. I can't argue with the sucks vs blows when it comes to the 2.8.
            ;)
